We are situated adjoining the North Yorkshire Moors and Coast, in the North York Moors National Park village of Lockton, with Dalby Forest nearby.
Ashfield Caravan Site is a level, well kept all grass site of approx ½ an acre. The site has electric but no showers or toilets. We are situated in a quiet location with an open outlook and can capture the sun for most of the day (if shining), and unless exceptionally wet the site does not suffer with difficult access. (10 ft gateway)
We take pets by arrangement and dogs must be kept on a lead on the site.
You would need to be a member of the Caravan Club to stay on this 5 CL site.
Ashfield Caravan Site is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is only ½ an hours drive from Whitby and Scarborough. The market town of Pickering is 6 miles away and the starting point for the North York Moors Railway, which is well worth a visit, it has different events happening throughout the year. This is a really good walking area, with many walks that can start straight from our site.
There are two pubs within one mile of the village and the nearest shops are in Pickering.
To find the site, turn off the A169 Pickering to Whitby road after approximately 6 miles from Pickering, travel through the village, but do not turn down to Levisham, the site is at the top of the No through road at the far end of the village.
